This kit was designed for the abuse of hardcore drag race, road race, and Street Enthusiasts most importantly it will handle the everyday wear and tear of city & highway streets like that was it's main intent. For use with motor plates for engine mounting. 
The factory K-member weighs in at 46lbs our Chrome Moly K-member only weighs 22lbs saving 24lbs off the nose of your car where it's needed most. Q & A

Question: Can I use stock motor mounts with this K-member?
Answer: No this version of our K-member do not have motor mounts or provisions for motor mounts. You must mount your engine with motor plates, which is typical in dedicated race cars or when swapping engines into your car. 

Question: Does this K-member move the tires forward or backward like others?
Answer: No it retains the factory wheelbase and places the wheels in the factory location.
