Ford Performance Starter Index Plate - Manual Trans - 1996-2024 Mustang V8

Keep your Starter aligned properly with this Starter Index Plate from Ford Performance.  This aligns the starter to the Flywheel (Ring Gear) and helps ensure longer life and less wear on both of those components.  This Starter Index Plate is a metal plate that fits in between the engine block and the manual transmission bellhousing on your 4.6L, 5.4L, or 5.0L Coyote powered Mustang.   It locks the starter in the precise location and helps to keep it aligned properly.  

NOTE: Does not fit Ford GT
