The dual pass design incorporates a 360 degree welded baffle to prevent any internal coolant bypass. These baffles force coolant through the top half of the heat exchanger and then the bottom half, giving the heat exchanger the opportunity to dissipate heat twice. Using this unit provides a cooler, more stable coolant temperature to the intercooler even when the engine is being pushed to it’s limits. This process provides more consistent performance on the street and lowers ET times at the strip.
