Our new 5 piece billet steel crossbolted main cap set with main studs allows you to upgrade the strength of your 5.0L or 5.2L Ford block. While our ductile iron sleeve conversion to the 5.0 and 5.2 blocks have greatly improved the block strength, as we built more and more of these engines that have made over 1,000 hp with power adders, we looked for more ways to strengthen the blocks. What our engineers came up with is these 1044 billet steel main caps. Similar in shape to the factory cast iron main caps and substantially stronger than any other main caps available including aftermarket billet aluminum caps.
