Description
This 50 state legal Livernois Motorsports product is to help make repairing noisy cam phasers even easier! This kit complete contains a pair of brand new replacement cam phaser with Livernois Motorsports cam phaser lockouts installed into them and the pre-programmed tuner, a pair of new cam phaser bolts, and the Livernois Motorsports timing chain tool. This permanent repair kit will change the phaser to a solid hub design then when you have finished installing the locked phasers you simple go through a few steps with the tuner plugged into the diagnostic port of the vehicle, then unplug it and your done! The tuner will vin number marry to the vehicle so it can only work on a single vehicle but still can be used as a trouble code scanner for it so simple place it in the glove box and drive.

Product Information
Over time as these 3 valve engines wear they develop a knocking noise in the front timing chain area of the engine. This is commonly caused by the cam phaser moving back and forth uncontrollable which in addition to all the noise will also send error codes to the computer and send the engine into the ‘limp’ mode. An engine in the ‘limp’ mode will run very poorly with symptoms like low power, poor mileage, rough idle etc. This 2004-2010 50 state legal permanent repair kit will change the phaser to a solid hub design then when you have finished installing the locked phasers you simple go through a few steps with the tuner plugged into the diagnostic port of the vehicle, then unplug it and your done!
